The Lifeline program offers discounts to low-income consumers on phone and/or internet services. The FCC has expanded access to these discounts to those who will receive federal disaster assistance and emergency food assistance (through the Disaster Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program, D-SNAP).
The Lifeline discount for broadband internet service (or bundled internet and phone service) is up to $9.25 a month.
The Lifeline discount for phone-only service is up to $5.25 a month.
The Lifeline discount for those on Tribal lands is up to $34.25 a month.
