AMC Entertainment Holdings, the largest U.S. movie theater chain, agreed to settle allegations that the company violated the New York Arts and Cultural Affairs Law by failing to properly disclose a “convenience” fee for buying movie tickets or other goods and services through the AMC website or app for use at AMC theaters in New York state. If you paid such a convenience fee between Aug. 29, 2022, and Jan. 16, 2024, you may be eligible for a $7 payment or a free one-year membership to AMC Stubs Premiere.
