Apple will pay $35 million to settle a case alleging that the company’s iPhone 7 and 7 Plus contained defective audio chips, resulting in audio issues or failure. If you owned this model of phone between Sept. 16, 2016, and Jan. 3, 2023, and you complained to Apple of audio issues or paid Apple to repair the device, you may be eligible for payment.
