Sports website The Bleacher Report agreed to pay $4.8 million to settle a class action lawsuit alleging that the company violated the Video Privacy Protection Act (VPPA) by disclosing the personally identifiable informationof account holders to Facebook via the Meta Pixel without consent. Consumers who had a Bleacher Report account between Jan. 25, 2021, and May 21, 2024, may be eligible for payment.
