The maker of Bosch appliances agreed to pay $2 million to settle allegations that certain microwave/oven combination appliances were equipped with defective components that caused the control panel to fade, dim, become unreadable, and/or fail altogether. If you own(ed) a qualifying Bosch microwave/oven combo appliance (model numbers HBL5751UC, HBL8751UC, HBLP751UC, HMC80151UC, HMC80251UC, and HMC87151UC), you may be eligible for payment and/or an extended service plan of three years.
