CoreLogic Credco (inaccurate consumer reporting)

Defendant: CoreLogic Credco

Consumer reporting agency CoreLogic Credco agreed to pay a $5.695 million settlement to resolve allegations that the company violated the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) by inaccurately reporting individuals as deceased. If you were the subject of a consumer report resold by CoreLogic Credco to a third party between Jan. 1, 2021, and May 2, 2023, that indicated you were deceased, and either one or two of the nationwide consumer reporting agencies (Equifax, Experian and TransUnion) provided information to CoreLogic Credco that did not include a deceased notation, you may be eligible for payment. (Not all class members need to submit a claim form; visit the settlement website to find out if you must.)

Claim deadline: Friday, 05 January 2024.
