Shoe retailer Journeys (Genesco, Inc.) will pay $885,000 to resolve claims that the company violated the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) when it sent unsolicited marketing text messages even after the recipient had sent a “stop” message or other opt-out request. If you received such a text message from Journeys between Dec. 21, 2017, and May 9, 2023, you may be eligible for payment.
