Toyota has agreed to pay $78.5 million to settle a case alleging that the air bag control units in some of the automaker’s vehicles were defective. Malfunctioning units can prevent the air bags from deploying in a collision. If you are or were the owner or lessee of certain Toyota models, you may be eligible for payment.
