The lawsuit alleges that certain Toyota truck models have frames that were subject to rust, causing corrosion that could threaten the structural integrity of the trucks. Consumers who purchased or leased certain 2005-2010 Tacoma models, 2005-2008 Sequoia models, and 2007-2008 Tundra models may be eligible for a share of the $3.4 billion settlement. The case is Brian Warner, et al. v. Toyota Motor Sales USA Inc., Case No. 2:15-cv-02171, in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California.
