In a case alleging that numerous U.S. chicken processors conspired to restrict the supply of, and fix, raise and stabilize the price of chicken, some of the defendants have reached a $181 million settlement. (The case is proceeding against the defendants who haven’t settled.) If you purchased certain types of fresh or frozen raw chicken in any one of 24 states or the District of Columbia from Jan. 1, 2012, to July 31, 2019, you may be eligible to receive a payment.
