In a case alleging that numerous U.S. chicken processors conspired to restrict the supply of, and fix, raise and stabilize the price of chicken, some of the defendants have reached a $181 million settlement. (The case is proceeding against the defendants who haven’t settled.) If you purchased certain types of fresh or frozen raw chicken in any one of 24 states or the District of Columbia from Jan. 1, 2012, to July 31, 2019, you may be eligible to receive a payment. × |

Volkswagen/Audi (data breach) »Claim deadline is/was Wednesday, 12 April 2023. If you received a notice from Volkswagen and/or Audi in June 2021 notifying you that your personal data may have been exposed in a data breach between August 2019 and May 2021, you are eligible for a monetary award from a $3.5 million class action settlement. The breach affected over 3.3 million Audi buyers. ×Thinx Inc. (underwear chemicals) »Claim deadline is/was Wednesday, 12 April 2023. A $4 million settlement has been reached in a case alleging that the maker of Thinx period underwear used harmful chemicals in the manufacture of its period underwear. Dickey’s Barbecue Restaurant (data breach) »Claim deadline is/was Saturday, 22 April 2023. Dickey’s Barbecue, a Dallas-based restaurant with locations across the country, agreed to a $2.35 million class action settlement to resolve allegations that the company’s lax security resulted in customer payment card information being listed for sale on the dark web. Customers who used a payment card to make a purchase at a Dickey’s Barbecue restaurant between April 23, 2019, and Oct. 29, 2020, may be eligible for cash payment of up to $5,000 as well as two years of credit bureau monitoring and identity restoration services. × |
