Alleges that Nationstar Mortgage violated the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act by charging unauthorized convenience fees to borrowers who made mortgage payments online or over the phone.  Borrowers whose debts were 30 days past due and were charged convenience fees for making mortgage payments over the phone or online between November 17, 2014 and May 25, 2018 may be eligible for a share of the $3.8 million settlement. Washington State borrowers whose debts were 30 days past due and were charged convenience fees for making mortgage payments over the phone or online between November 11, 2011 and May 25, 2018 may be eligible for a share of the $3.8 million settlement.
