DFS Group, which owns a network of duty-free stores, including 12 in major airports, agreed to a $2.5 million settlement in a case alleging that the company violated the Fair and Accurate Credit Transactions Act (FACTA) by printing point-of-sale receipts for credit card and debit card transactions that displayed the first six and last four digits of the card number, in violation of FACTA. If you used a debit card or credit card at one or more of DFS’s U.S. retail locations and received an electronically printed receipt displaying the first six and last four digits of the card number between May 27, 2020, and June 30, 2022, you may be eligible for a payment.

Bath & Body Works and Victoria’s Secret Stores agreed to pay up to $15 million to resolve allegations that the companies violated the Fair and Accurate Credit Transactions Act (FACTA) by printing more than the last five digits of credit card and debit card numbers on receipts provided to cardholders at the point of sale in their stores. If you made a purchase at a Victoria’s Secret, PINK, or Bath & Body Works store between May 10, 2021, and Aug. 8, 2021, and were provided a printed receipt that displayed more than the last five digits of your card number, you may be eligible to receive a voucher for up to $15 off a single future purchase.
