Register now for Consumer Action's free Sept. 19 webinar.

Recognizing that getting enough people vaccinated to achieve herd immunity is critical to saving lives and enabling the country to recover from the pandemic, Consumer Action is inviting its network of community-based organizations and other groups who serve vulnerable populations of all ages to register for the free webinar scheduled for Sept. 21 at 10 a.m. PT (11 a.m. MT; 12 p.m. CT; 1 p.m. ET).

Consumer Action is partnering with medical experts across the country to help community organizations address local COVID-19 vaccine misinformation. Presenters from UCLA's STOP COVID-19 CA (Share, Trust, Organize, Partner COVID-19 California Alliance); Mary’s Center in Washington, D.C.; Morehouse School of Medicine in Atlanta; University of Miami Miller School of Medicine; and the University of Mississippi will offer community advocates advice on how to encourage and effectively communicate about COVID-19 vaccination within their communities.

This training will provide accurate, science-based information about the COVID-19 vaccines so that trusted community members can use the information to engage in a discussion that will enable individuals to make informed decisions about their own health. We want everyone in our community to be safe and get back to the activities we’ve missed with family, friends and neighbors.

Community educators, social-service providers, faith-based organizations, and others interested in helping to fight COVID-19 through community education about COVID vaccines please register for the free 90-minute webinar here: https://bit.ly/3jusoKK.
