洛杉磯時報報導，加州不少藍盾保險（Blue Shield）被保人，近期都被突然、錯誤的取消保險，特別在近幾個月，遭消費者投訴增加許多。該公司已承認自2014年來購買個別保單者，有加入與結算錯誤情況，但公司拒絕透露影響的客戶數量。
