不少民眾對「歐記健保」的存留還是不清楚，有人以為新稅法已將歐記健保廢除，因此停止繳交健保費，將因此會收到罰款單。專業人士提醒民眾，歐記健保還存在，但2019年後如民眾沒買健保，不需再繳罰款，至於未來保費多寡的走向，「還很難說」。
