全國消費者法律中心律師吳玉祺(Chi Chi Wu)19日在芝加哥舉行的全美消費者行動大會中表示，移民向來較忽略建立信用歷史，且對個人信用問題缺乏警覺，由於國土安全部擬從10月15日施行的「公共負擔」新規，已將信用分數列入是否核發移民簽證或綠卡的評估項目，她呼籲移民社區對此加強關注。
