FDA OKs first new prescription diet drug in a decade

The Food and Drug Administration gave the green light Wednesday to the first new prescription diet drug in more than a decade. Lorcaserin, to be sold as Belviq, (pronounced BEL-VEEK) from Arena Pharmaceuticals works on brain chemistry to create a feeling of fullness.
